Large social media corporations steal our attention span and dump us into large platforms with no separation by interest or community. We are constantly fed posts and ideas we don't want to see by an algorithm that only wants to farm our engagement with anger and fear. On sites like X (Twitter), algorithms force posts in your face that clog your notifications and contain harmful content. Blogging sites like Tumblr are okay, but rely on unwritten etiquette that many new users aren't aware of, and old users forget over time (and the staff sucks). Discord still has the same issues that plague many social media sites, and is also a hotbed of drama.

This site's mission is to create a space for DRRR fans, made by DRRR fans. A place where you can engage with topics you like, and ignore topics you don't. The only person responsible for what you read and see is yourself! Don't like another user? Block them from interacting with your posts. Does a topic not interest you? No need to interact with it. Is a post inappropriate or off topic? Report it and get results fast from a real human admin!

Obviously, we do not aim to replace ALL social media, we are just one specialized site, but there are many other sites like this one. Sites for specific and specialized interests that offer a haven from the tyranny of corporate social media. You can find them on the indie web (AKA the small web!)
